Giveaway #3 is hosted by my fun, cute friend Jodi.
Jodi and I also met while in Vegas.
She has two adorable kids with one on the way.
Her daughter shares the same birthday as Luke and her son and Luke were in the same primary class.
Her son’s birthday party was Luke’s first friend party that he attended and he thought it was so cool.
Who doesn’t love a super hero birthday?
Jodi is also super talented (who knew I had so many talented friends?) and she crocheted a scarf to give away.
I have seen Jodi crochet some really cute things so if you ever need anything made, she is your gal.
She also made a similar scarf to this one that was auctioned off at a church event and it was the hot item.
You will definitely want this especially for fall and winter.
Here is what Jodi has to say:
I am giving away a ruby red tube scarf. It is super soft and warm just like Ruby and how Kristin handled everything. She was such an example for me and my life. I wanted to make something warm and snuggly just like sweet babies and little Ruby. So here is a cute tube scarf, handmade in a smoke free and pet free home.
In order to enter the drawing all you have to do is something for someone else. It can be anything - subbing for someone at church, bringing someone treats, watching someone's kids, etc. Good luck and share some love!
You heard her, leave a comment with what you did to serve someone else.
Simple service acts and the scarf could be yours.
Giveaway will close October 30th and the winner will be announced then.
Thanks again Jodi!
Would love to win this scarf! I am planning a wedding shower for a friend at work- that is my good deed. :o) I am also getting started on the yard work early and letting my husband sleep in. Not sure if that's considered a good deed or just being a good wife. ;o)
ReplyDeleteHelping your husband is definitely a good deed. :)

Love the scarf! I'm planning a semi-secret surprise party for my good friends 40th birthday. She lives out of the country and knows some friends are getting together, but doesn't know what I have planned for the weekend! Then again, is it a good deed if I get to have fun too?? :)

That is DARLING!
ReplyDeleteI taught my friend how to can her pears and salsa. It is amazing how it always makes me feel so good to help other people. There is no such thing as a selfless good deed:p
Too Cute! I mowed the lawn for my hubby, to take some of the added stress off him, not a big fan but I know he really appreciated it!
ReplyDeleteSuper cute scarf! My good deed was I cleaned up a little girls poopy butt in primary. That counts right?!? ;)
ReplyDeleteA very good deed!

Darling! I am watching my friends class for her tomorrow while she goes to the doctors office.
ReplyDeleteI help women in recovery from Drugs and Alcohol everyday. It is a very big passion of mine and I go to halfway houses and institutions and speak to them and I also have women I talk with daily and it helps them to know if I can do it, they can!!
ReplyDeleteI watched my neighbors kids so she and her hubby could go on a date!
ReplyDeleteVery cute!!! I offered to take a salad to a Missionary Farewell.
ReplyDeletelove the red scarf! i'm helping out a friend today by getting her into the zoo for free so she can spend the day there with her kids.
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to say the I love the scarf and you are very talented at crocheting. Kristin has great friends.
ReplyDeleteI'm watching my friends kids this weekend to give her mother in law a break (she is watching them for 10 days) while my friend and her hubby go on a vacation! Very cute scarf!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful scarf!!! I'm helping doing a fundraiser for my nephew.
ReplyDeleteJodi, you are so cute! I will pick up trash on a walk around my neighborhood this week.
ReplyDeleteI walked my friend's little girl to school so she didn't have to wake her sleeping baby.
ReplyDeleteLove it Jodi! My act of service was watching a friends little girl so she could go to her son's doctors appt alone. -Robyn Turner
ReplyDeleteI sent pictures of our children to some distant grandparents. I had been wanting to do it for awhile but this inspired me! Just got an email that they were so thrilled and can't believe how beautiful they are and that they could not believe we thought to send it to them. It was quite a special experience.
ReplyDeleteI finally got one! Being home all day makes this one a little hard. :) My husband had to be at work super early this morning. He has been getting up with the kids and letting me sleep so I wasn't too happy that I actually had to get up today. But instead of getting upset, I realized how much he sacrifices and thanked him for how hard he works and what a good husband he is. And I tried to not wake him up when I got up with the baby a ton last night. It felt good to put him first.
ReplyDeleteThis week my hubby has been extra busy with work. So one night I cleaned, cooked, bathed & put the babies to sleep before he got home. So it could be relaxing for him.
ReplyDeleteThis week I have tried to lighten my 18 year olds load a little. He works all day so I have made his bed and picked up his room this week and taken his chores so he can have a little free time with friends before he leaves on his mission - make those memories with friends before he leaves ;) Small things but hopefully it has helped his week be a little better.
ReplyDeleteLove the scarf! There is a lady in my ward who is the same age that I am, who just went through a divorce and moved back in with her parents. I've tried to go out of my way to say hi to her, and even invited her to serve on a committee with me. Just this last week, my kids and I took her and her kids some Halloween treats. I've been through what she's going through, so I'm hoping these small acts will help!
