Ali and I met while I was living in Spanish Fork.

Since moving we have actually stayed in touch quite a bit and try to catch up every now and again.

She has a little boy who is 2&1/2 and a daughter who was born the same day as Hank. They are birthday twins.

Here is what Ali has to say:

Kristin and I were in the same neighborhood and ward when she lived in Spanish fork. We played bunco together and  had lots of laughs and fun times. I always saw Kristin as such a fun, sweet, and talented person, but she really has been such an example of strength and courage through everything that happened with Ruby. I love how she celebrates Ruby and makes it a special time for everyone.

I chose to give away some cute bows and a bow tie made by my friend Summer. Ruby would be wearing cute bows, and these are for all of us to remember her by. The bow tie is for anyone who has boys.  :)

I also found red tulips to give away and thought they would be a perfect reminder of life and how beautiful it is. Each spring they will be a reminder of sweet Ruby. I hope you'll enjoy, whoever the winner is.

To enter, take an extra few moments with your kids (or another loved one if you don't have kids) and spend quality time playing, reading, etc. Let them know you love them in whatever way you choose. comment what you did, and you are welcome to share any special experiences!

(if you love the bows and want more, go to http://summersariah.storenvy.com to purchase. You can also follow her on Instagram: @summersariah)

I think the tulips are such a great idea that I will be planting them in my garden as well.

I also think it is funny how both Holli and Ali had the same sort of idea to enter for their giveaway.

Winner will be announced October 30th.

Thanks Ali!

  4. I guess today's my lucky day because I'm getting lots of quality time with my little monkey since we decided to start potty training this morning. We're reading, playing games, and taking lots of trips to the bathroom! The hair and bow ties are all adorable!

  5. Ali I love these! I'm so glad someone did bows since I really wanted to do a giveaway and of course giveaway bows but didn't with Brynn coming so soon. :) And I would love to win because I haven't made any yet and these are all so cute. So I haven't been able to spend the best quality time with the kids lately so today I made a special effort to take them to the park and push them on the swings for as long as they wanted. It was fun and I definitely needed the push to do this today. I love these guys! :)

  6. I get to spend extra time with my daughter now that my husband works away from home. The other day we just laid on the couch and I watched a movie with her. She is the light of my world. I love her so much.

  7. Today my little ones helped me make banana bread and then we went and played at the playground for an hour this afternoon. One of our daily rituals is walking to the mailbox to check the mail. And, though the mailbox is only around the corner, it takes a good 15 or 20 minutes to get there and back because we stop to look at every bush, rock, flower, stick, etc. along the way. I'm so happy I get to spend my days with my little twins!

  9. After my 3 older kids went to bed tonight I took my 1 year old daughter, Presley in her room and read books and played with her for about 45 minutes. She is growing up so fast and being the 4th child I don't get to spend enough one on one time with her. I want to try and spend quality time with each of my kids individually more often!

  14. Yesterday I picked my 4 year old up from school early. He greeted me a hug and signed, "I love you." When we got home, he and my 6 year old chose to color. I sat and watched as they flipped through their Clifford the Big Red Dog coloring book. The red reminded me of Ruby, and her story. I hugged my baby girl, and was reminded of the little things in life that mean the most.

  18. I signed up to volunteer in my kids' classrooms. This isn't particularly easy since they are at different schools and I have twins 1 yr. old's. However, my older two so rarely get one on one time with them that I thought the extra attention was really needed!

  21. After I gave birth to my Ruby, I couldn't lift my older daughter Anna (2) for 6 weeks. We are in week 5. I have checked out over 30 books each week from the library to try and have more cuddle time to make up for it.

  22. I stopped and played trains with my little one. I'm so not good at being imaginative, but it's so fun to just spend time with them doing what they love.
