Mickey’s Halloween Party

Halloween, October, and the fall season are big in my family.

We grew up with a mom that LOVED this season so naturally we all love it as well.

When we found out that Disneyland was going to be having a Mickey’s Trick or Treat party while we would be there, we jumped at the chance to go.

This also meant dressing up.

It was so fun to walk out of our hotel room to see how everyone else was dressed.

I always like to go with a theme so this year was Peter pan.

I made the costumes so don’t be too critical. :)

Jared was a good sport and made an awesome Mr. Smee.

I was surprise at how popular his costume was.

There were people all over the park going, “Hey! It’s Smee!”

Who knew Peter Pan loved a binkie so much ?!

My sister and her family had some pretty amazing costumes.

We had two pirates, the Queen of Hearts, Elsa, Anna & Olaf.

My other sister’s family went as Alice in Wonderland, the white rabbit and Tweedle Dee & Tweedle Dum.

It was so cute and matched the Queen of Hearts.

My parents went all out as Jack & Sally Skellington.

They looked so good and everyone at Disneyland had to get a closer look.

The whole gang had to get a picture in front of Mickey.

During the party they had trick or treat stations set up around the whole park and they filled our sacks FULL of candy and goodies.

It’s been a curse since coming home because I have ate so much junk from that darn Halloween bag.

Not too far into trick or treating we looked down at the stroller and saw this:

Captain Hook out for the count.

We let him have a little pirate snooze and then woke him up for a  ride on Pirates of the Caribbean.

We knew he couldn’t miss it, being a pirate and all.

This was the view from my sister’s seat on the ride. I see nothing wrong with it.

I loved that all the rides were still open and most of them were no wait at all.

Disneyland doesn’t spare any expensive when decorating for Halloween.

It was in every detail.

I loved it.

It was fun being there so late at night in our costumes seeing all the characters in their costumes too.

Such a great way to start the Halloween season.
