Giveaway #4

Giveaway #4 is sponsored by my sister, Lindsay.

Lindsay was able to meet Ruby and was a HUGE help in taking care of Luke and my house while I was spending time with Ruby.

Sisters are the best and I know I can always count on her.

Lindsay’s giveaway was in high demand last year so make sure you check out what she has for you.

Here is what she has to say:

“My name is Lindsay. I am Kristin's little sister.
I own a small side business where I make custom baby onesies, baby leggings, ruffle skirts and stockings.
I love to be a part of this giveaway each year to honor Ruby and I love to be able to make something for the giveaway.
This year I have made 2 Christmas stockings. The stockings are fleeced lined with a red fan print bottom and a cream and gold glitter burlap cuff.

The stocking represents Ruby in more than one way.
It reminds me of Ruby because it is red, and has specks of gold that remind me of Angels.

It also reminds me of Ruby because it is hung in your home at a magical time of year.
A time of year filled with love, giving and service. It is used to be filled with gifts and Ruby is a very precious gift!
I hope whoever wins this giveaway can be reminded of that precious gift and have a spirit of service and giving.

To enter the giveaway please comment with an act of service you have done recently.
For an additional entry, like my Facebook page and let me know by leaving an additional comment saying you have liked it.”

Gorgeous stockings, Lindsay!

The cool thing about this giveaway is, if you win and want more than 2 you can always buy more from her in the same fabric or choose a coordinating pattern to match.

Lindsay has been sewing stockings non-stop since August so if you are interested in having her make you some CUSTOM stockings contact her soon so you can get them in time for Christmas.

And be sure to like her Facebook page because she runs specials all the time.

Winner will be chosen October 30th.

Thanks again Lindsay!

  1. CUTE! Service is something our family does often- it's our way of remembering our sweet Porter :) Especially this time of year as we are approaching what would be his 4th birthday. I took dinner to a friend last night that has a sick dog & she has been SO stressed over him. It wasn't hard for me, I make dinner for my family anyway ;) But it meant the world to her when I showed up with my kids to drop it off :)

  3. After seeing this from you last year I decided this was something I was going to do for each of my kids and their families. If I win this I will not have to make my own. LOL

  7. What a talent! Beautiful stockings. All the ladies at my husband work think his warmed up leftovers smell so good and look at their frozen dinner with their nose turned up. I sent recipes to work with him so they can make the same yummy foods they smell each day. Sometimes it's the small things that can make us feel good.

  13. Our family packed a cooler for a family in our ears who has to live at the hospital with their seven year old daughter with cancer. The cooler lasted them a week with meals and snacks to hold them over so they could stay with thee daughter who will soon receive a transplant. My kids were so excited to pick the treats to send.

  16. Super cute! I was able to watch a friend's children for some time today when she had to schedule a last minute appointment for her other child whose been having some health issues. When my friend sent out the SOS text to a group of us, I was happy to say "Yes!" while thinking about an act of service I could do for Ruby!

  17. Those are adorable! My neighbor lost her 18 month old just one month ago. I took her out for some hot chocolate last night and just let her talk about her little guy. (It was one month from the day he died.) I told her about Ruby and all the cool things you do to honor her. She mentioned she'd like to start doing stuff like that maybe next year. You're such a great example. Thank you!

  18. Love these stockings! What a talented sister you have. I'm having a hard time coming up with something - I've been given so many acts of kindness recently because I had a baby 3 weeks ago. I just sit in my house and don't go many places or do many things. I could tell you so many things others have done for me - including Kristin. I guess one thing I've done is writing thank you notes to let others know how much a appreciate them. That's kind of a big deal for me since it's something I typically have a difficulty finding the time to write the thank you notes. I just want others to know how much I appreciate them.

  21. I'm a teacher in a low income school district. A former student's grandmother is gravely ill, due to the lack of public transportation in our county, the family had been unable to see the Gma at the hospital. Knowing how I would feel if it were my family in need, I drove them (60 miles) to see the gma! Their smiles made in all worth it :)

  22. Watched my friend toddler last minute for her. I don't feel like this is something big, but I know what a huge help it is when I'm in the same bind. You are so talented! Love these stockings

  24. We made up a Halloween box with cookies and gifts to send to my sister in Washington. This is kind of out of my element, but I want her family to know how much we love them.

  25. Beautiful stockings! I picked up a lady walking down the street with luggage and found out that she still had 5 more miles to walk in the heat and drove her home.

  26. I love these!! SO talented!! I often send our priest encouraging emails. He has been going through a tough time with some mean spirited people who didn't like a tough decision he had to make. It has taken a toll on him.

  27. I recently joined with some friends to send a care package to a girlfriend whose husband has cancer. She doesn't live nearby, so we wanted to do something to boost her spirits.

  28. I recently cooked supper for my in-laws. I'm not working right now and my mother-in-law is. She has a hard time coming home and finding something to cook for supper (just like every woman). So I decided to cook for her and have it ready for her and my father-in-law when they got home from work.

  29. It sounds silly, but I passed a 40% off coupon to the lady standing behind me at Michael's. She had a ton of baking supplies and seemed very grateful!

  30. Every week my children and I make cookies together and then we anonymously take them around to neighbors and friends! My kids are learning the fun of doing something for someone else without the recognition 😊 and that it still makes you feel great, if not better than having the recognition.
