Meeting the Characters at Disneyland

We had a lot of fun at Disneyland, but one of Luke’s favorite things was meeting the characters and getting autographs.

We were able to meet quite a few, the first being Anna & Elsa from Frozen.

{Luke also got to talk to Crush from Finding Nemo and it was so dang cute I got a snippet on video}

We decided to do the character dining at Goofy’s Kitchen.

It was suppose to be a great night, but I ended up forgetting the tickets at our hotel (mom brain).

The worst part was that I didn’t even remember I had received any tickets to begin with (mom brain again).

So after running back and forth from hotel desk to hotel desk, making phone calls, talking to everyone under the sun, and a lost driver’s license we were seated ready to eat.

However, I was so worked up after all of the mess that it was hard to relax and enjoy the meal.

The kids LOVED it and didn’t seem to notice I was a disaster.

I’m just glad it all worked out because this encounter between Chip and Hank is priceless:

Pluto was also another favorite of Hank’s and he stayed and played at our table for awhile.

It was such a fun night for the kids.

Hank giggled and flirted with each character while Luke gave everyone a huge hug.

I’m still a little traumatize over it, but I’m sure the “sick to my stomach feeling every time I think about it” will soon go away.

The things we do for our kids!

I would have hated to ruin this experience for them.

I’m glad they will have these fun memories.

More from our Disneyland trip to come…

  1. Oh my goodness that is so adorable. IT makes me wish I would have paid it just to be there live and see how much Hank loved it. I can't believe he isn't scared of them. Tess was terrified of anyone in a costume until like 6 minutes ago I swear. I love it.
