Casey and I met after me and Jared married and we all lived in the same apartment complex in Orem.
Casey & Jared also served on the HOA board together.
When I first met her she had one darling little girl and now her family has grown and she has three beautiful kids.
When I look at Casey I can just tell that she is the best mama and that her kids adore her.
I was so excited when she said she wanted to host a giveaway.
Here is what Casey has to say:
“I'm giving away an Ulta Beauty gift card. ($20)
To enter this giveaway you must paint a little girls toenails (yes it's ok to paint boys toes too, mine likes blue or clear).
Or let a child put make-up on you and themselves.
It's all about having fun and spending time together and playing!
When I think of Ruby I picture her getting in her mom’s make-up or getting her fingernails painted by Kristin.
This is where I got my gift idea from.
Thank you for letting me be apart of this wonderful and precious honoring giveaway.”
Just thinking about Ruby turning three and all the things she would be doing, I believe Casey got it right.
I think she would be a girly girl wanting to be pampered with makeup and polish.
Such a very thought out giveaway with a fun way to enter.
When we were at Disneyland a couple weeks ago I used my eyeliner to put a mustache on Luke for his Halloween costume.
He thought it was the coolest thing ever and has been asking ever since if I will do it again.
I think today is the day to paint mustaches and let him put a little makeup on myself as well.
Winner will be announced October 30th.
Thanks Casey for such a fun giveaway!
What we wouldn't give to do this with our angel babies.... This is one of my oldest daughters favorite activities. She likes to use my dark eyeshadows and make tiger stripes on her face. Right now my toenails are painted pink with purple glitter polish on top! We just did them yesterday. It will be a bittersweet day when I have "normal" looking toenails with a color of my choice.

A good reminder to take a few minutes & do something simple that our kids enjoy :) I know my 8 year old daughter will be thrilled when I tell her were nail-painting after she gets home from school today. My 13 year old will probably tolerate it ;)
ReplyDeleteWe just did fingernail and toenails this week also. My little girl loves her to be painted. I have a friend who sells Jamberry. My daughter picked her out a set for her order and they just came. So she has Jamberry nails (sooooo cute). She loves to paint my nails and my husband has it on his toes ( what he doesn't do for his daughter). ;)

So awesome! I love this give away!! I painted tiaras toes today and let her put on prettiest (ie: chap stick, blush and every shadow); she loved it!!!
ReplyDeleteI've never painted anyone's nails in my life! I doubt my boy will let me, but he can try to put make up on me!
ReplyDeleteSuch a unique idea! My daughters nails are all done and ready for Halloween! orange and black ;)
ReplyDeleteI always love this and so happy you honor Ruby in such a graceful and happy way...I dont have my babies here in Las VEgas to paint toes or fingers but when my Granddaughter Ruby is here or I go to Texas, thats something we would definitely do. Shes a very girly girl as well so we would definitely do all the girly things....I love makeup and I guess next time we are together, I shoudl also let her put some makeup on me...that could be very scary...lol My thoughts and prayers are with you...:) and Happy Birthday again, Ruby
ReplyDeleteMy girls will love this! Reese just spent yesterday afternoon doing my hair. She loves to do mommy stuff.
ReplyDeleteMy Daughter Sophia would be in heaven with this giveaway! She is obsessed with painting nails. She could spend hours watching YouTube videos on how to do nail art. She and I love painting our nails together!
ReplyDeleteI love this idea! I love painting my little girls nails.
ReplyDeleteLove this! My daughter is always asking for blush and pretend mascara. And she loves getting her nails painted! Its a fun thing we can do together while the boys watch sports.

What a fun giveaway! We will have some fun tomorrow. :)
ReplyDeleteCutest idea ever! And so easy for me because my girls are obsessed with me painting their nails!! Yay so fun!
ReplyDeleteI don't have a daughter yet (one coming in December) and I couldn't talk my little boy into fingernail polish... however I did give him a nice back rub hope that counts!

My girls LOVE doing this. We did make-up in honor of Ruby this week. Their eyes were so sparkly when they told me how excited they were to go to school with real makeup on. Thanks for the reminder to take time with them!
ReplyDeleteI painted my rubys hands and toes and she chose teal/Aqua... The infamous and popular color right now. She said she looked like Elsa!
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun giveaway. My girls and granddaughters loved watching me and putting on makeup
ReplyDeleteMy daughter wanted her nails painted purple so I painted them. I also let me out make up on me. I would have let her paint my nails but... That would have been a nightmare:)

I don't have girls but I painted the neighbor's 4 year old with candy corn nails to match mine!
ReplyDeleteGreat giveaway! Love nail art,
ReplyDeleteMy daughter loves looking around in Ulta at all of the pretty nail polishes. It's a fun thing for us to do and I always let her pick out a fun color! :)
ReplyDeleteI painted my baby girls nails yesterday, and my 2 yr old boy tried to paint his this morning. I love this give away, reminding us all to spend some extra time together.
ReplyDeleteI painted my little girl's nails this morning...and then I let my 4 year old boy paint get his painted in Halloween colors. Dad wasn't too excited about that, but the little guy loved it :)
ReplyDeletePainting my girl's nails for halloween! :)
ReplyDeleteMy 2 daughters and I had a "nail party".....we painted each others' nails and even used some Jamberry wraps. It was so fun!
ReplyDeleteThis is the MOST adorable idea!!! I am surrounded by boys and my 5 year old was less than thrilled about "looking like Elsa" (HA!) and my 2 year old ran away from me screaming! Lol! What a fun memory though, for me at least. :)

It's fun to share girly things with my daughter. She always asks for painted nails, but makeup is something new for us to try.
ReplyDeleteTwo of my sons always want me to paint their nails whenever I paint mine. I always put a little on them too. My hubby isn't so thrilled when I do.

I am so grateful that I have my daughter to paint nails with and enjoy all the girlie girl thing with! Once in a while I will let her put some of my make up on, this gave me a better excuse to let her though! Thank you for the reminder to let her shine!!
