Today is a double giveaway!
That’s right, there are TWO giveaways you can enter today, so be sure to scroll down to the next post to see the other giveaway.
This giveaway is sponsored by my friend from High School, Aaron Brown.
I first met Aaron in 6th grade.
6th grade was the start of middle school in my hometown which meant everyone filters in to the same school from all different elementary schools.
There were a lot of new faces to meet and Aaron was one of the first people I met.
We stayed good friends all the way through high school up until he served his LDS mission.
He had the house with the pool and so a lot of my high school memories were at his pool parties.
One thing you should know about Aaron is this guy LOVES golf.
Growing up his house sat right on the golf course and I believe he probably spent more time there than even at his own pool parties.
Aaron is now married and has four beautiful children.

Aaron works at Eaglewood Golf Course and has a great giveaway today.
Here is what he said:
“A birthday isn't complete without a round of golf (I may be a little bias)!
I will be donating two rounds with a cart to Eaglewood Golf Course in North Salt Lake for Ruby’s special day.”

Aaron is also a man of few words ;)
Pretty cool though and so generous!
To enter this giveaway please leave a comment letting us know a birthday tradition you have.
I think we all know what Aaron’s birthday tradition consists of!
Even if you aren’t local you can still enter and give it to someone who is local or if you can always come visit Utah!
Make sure to scroll down to the next post to see another giveaway for today!
Winner will be chosen October 30th.
Thanks again Aaron for a great gift!
My husband would LOVE this! I have only done a couple of golf scrambles, but it so much fun! It would be a fun date :) Our birthday tradition (with our kids) is taking the birthday child out to dinner at a restaurant if their choice OR make them ANYTHING they want for dinner. It's fun to see their little brains working to try & figure out which option they want & then deciding where or what they want :)
ReplyDeleteI would love yo give this to my mom. She spent most of the summer sitting at the hospital with my dad, sister, and my self. We let the birthday person pick out what ever they want to eat. I remember one of my daughters picked hot dogs and corn. She also always wanted No bake cookies instead of a birthday cake!
ReplyDeleteChoosing the "cake". Growing up my mom let me choose and I loved it! Sometimes it was a cake with special colors of icing or an ice cream cake, or even raspberry pie, yum! I love letting my boys do this too, last year my 3 yr old was so into cookies that that's what he chose, a big stack of cookies with a candle on top.
ReplyDeleteOur birthday tradition growing up was always choosing where we wanted to go out to eat for dinner. This is an awesome giveaway!

That is really nice of Aaron. One if our favorite Bday traditions is that the birthday kid goes to bed the night before and the rest of the family stays up late decorating and wrapping presents for the next morning.
ReplyDeleteOne birthday tradition that we have as a family is to get together and have dinner
ReplyDeleteMy hubby would love this. It is his birthday today. Something we do for birthdays at our house is pretty simple. We just try to make it a special day. We usually go out to eat and get a few simple gifts. But something as simple as not having to change diapers is a great gift.

My mom and I share a birthday, so we have the family over for dinner and have cake and ice cream. Family is the greatest blessing. I couldn't think of a better way to spend a birthday. What a fun giveaway.
ReplyDeleteI would love to give this to Jonathan. Our birthday tradition is breakfast in bed on your birthday. Thank you Aaron for such a fun giveaway.
ReplyDeleteI would love to donate this giveaway to someone in SLC if I won...But one of my favorite birthday traditions is decorating part of our house in honor of the birthday person the night before their birthday so when they wake up, their day starts with some happy birthday love!
ReplyDeleteI love Birthday traditions. One we have in our house is that you get to choose what special birthday meal you want for dinner! It can be homemade or your favorite restaurant. But the birthday boy/girl gets to choose! John would love this. He doesn't get to golf nearly as often as he would like to....and it would be a good reason to head northward :)
ReplyDeleteOur birthday tradition is to do everything we can to make the birthday person feel special. It can change every year, but I just love making them feel like the most important person in the world. For the kids, lately we have been watching their 1st year slideshow DVD.
ReplyDeleteFor bdays we like to celebrate with a party, cake, and ice cream, and of course the special person's favorite meal. They also get to pick an activity for the family to do together.
ReplyDeleteA special birthday breakfast!
ReplyDeleteWe like to use a "You Are Special" plate for the birthday boy/girl.
ReplyDeleteOne of our birthday traditions is I let them choose their cake, I either make and decorate or we have it made. We have had some fun (and flops) too! Then we have all the family (extended) over for cake and ice cream.
ReplyDeleteMy husband would love this giveaway.
ReplyDeleteI love to surprise the Birthday Person with a homemade birthday banner and treats when they wake up in the morning.
We love to decorate our birthday persons door!
ReplyDeleteWe always have the birthday fairy come to our house the night before (a tradition passed on to me by my mom) and decorate the kitchen area with streamers, balloons, and of course presents for the birthday boy or girl!
ReplyDeleteI make a birthday banner and hang it up before they wake up. I let them pick what kind of dessert they want and I make it, usually it's a cake and I decorate it with their favorite thing at the time. Then they get to pick what they want for dinner (homemade or restaurant). Birthday's were always a big deal in my family when I was growing up. I think it is important to have a day that is just yours and you get special treatment.
ReplyDeleteI would love to win this for my brother:) Decorating the house for the birthday boy or girl is a fun tradition we have:)
ReplyDeleteWe have crepes for breakfast for each family members birthday. It is my very favorite thing to eat!! :)
