Luke started a new round of rec center classes.
We have been busy doing swim lessons every day this week and last.
He is really improving and loves the water.
We have been taking lessons with our friends, Rachel & Kenzie.
I have loved being able to cool off in the water every day.
We stay and play after lessons which usually leads to a very late shower and a no make-up kind of day.
I also signed him up for Gymboree again.
He asks to go to Gymbo class every day.
Unfortunately it is only one day a week.
He started a new class called Toddler Time.
It is one where he goes to class by himself.
Last week they read The Hungry Caterpillar and made a caterpillar out of an egg carton.
It was so cute and he was so excited to go to class by himself.
The best part is there is a little girl in his class named Ruby. Love it!

Now that the Bachelorette is over Tuesday afternoons just aren’t the same.
I was missing my friends today.
Getting together to watch it during naptime was one of the highlights of my week.
I guess I will have to occupy my time with something else until the next season starts.
Maybe I could do something productive?
Nah.

I FINALLY ordered Ruby’s headstone and I really like the way it turned out.
Hopefully I will like the way it turns out once it is set in stone.
We are heading to Utah soon and it is on my To Do List of things I have to finalize while there.
I will post a picture once it is complete.

Last night the most bizarre (and gross) thing happened.
Luke loves to get out bowls, Tupperware, appliances, and anything else he can find and put toys or beans from his sandbox in them.
Last night he had got out a bunch of different kitchen objects and was keeping himself occupied.
I could tell he needed to go to the bathroom, but he refuses to go until it is an emergency (we have many battles over this).
Next thing I know he brought me my cocoa motion maker with pee in it.
YES, PEE!!!!
AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!
What is the world?
I know boys like to pee in weird places, but really?
I was quite shocked.
I think I am going to have my hands full with him.
Anyone want some hot cocoa?
oh that is so funny...boys will be boys!! My daughter who is 6 yrs old thought that since her 4 yr old brother pees outside she was going to give it a try and she got some on her pants and had to come in and change! Kids are funny!

ReplyDeleteAt least he is peeing somewhere other than the diaper! LOL What a funny kid!
ReplyDeleteLet's figure something out to do on Tuesday afternoons! Games, food, movie, whatever! I'm missing our get togethers, too.
ReplyDeleteP.S. I just read your most recent pee story, and, oh man! Good thing you're journaling these experiences. I'm sure you'll get a good laugh out of them when you go back and read it in the future.
P.P.S. I just got your text, too. Yes, I noticed the change on Pinterest. Kind of an interesting feature, eh? Any word on your long-lost Pinterest triplets?
OH my goodness. That little stinker.
