Not a whole lot

A whole lot of nothing has been going on around our house.

I wanted to write a post today, but my mind is just blanking out on what I want to write.

I decided to write about what has been going on around here, which is not a whole lot.

Hopefully, this is still worth reading.

Today my favorite person, Jen, is visiting Las Vegas so we met up with one of my other friends for some play time at the museum.

The highlight of the day (besides seeing Jen) was meeting this guy at the museum:

He was standing in front of us in line to get in.

At first, I didn’t believe it was him.

My friend, Kiley, wanted to make sure it was him as well so when we saw him at the bubble machine she made sure to go say hi.

It was so good to catch up with Jen, but it was also not a very conducive environment for chatting.

Luke gets sensory overload at this place so he is a mad man running for one room to another.

Although, we will have more time for catch up when we go to the Ellen show in March.

Yes, did I mention I finally got tickets to the Ellen show?

I almost peed my pants.

I am working on my dance moves every day.

In other news, I have been trying out homemade remedies (found on pinterest) for cleaning my house.

Much to my dismay, none of them seem to be working.

I was so excited (as excited as you can get to clean) to try them out, but they were all a big flop so far.

I still have a couple more to try, but I may just be sticking with my magic eraser, well, because it is magic.

I have also tried quite of few new recipes lately (thanks again pinterest).

Much to my surprise, they have all been quite delicious.

I get two thumbs up from Jared.

Last night we had coconut French toast and it was delish.

I finally broke out my sewing machine and I have been hemming all my jeans.

I found a way to hem them while still being able to keep the original hem (pinterest=lifesaver).

I feel like I have a whole new wardrobe.

I love scrapbooking, but my computer is running awfully slow lately that I want to “poke my eyes out with a dull pencil” as I wait for everything to load.

Anyone know about buying more RAM for my computer? And the big question is will it help?

I have persuaded Jared into watching American Idol with me.

He says he only watches it because he gets to spend time with me, but last night I sent him downstairs to make some edamame and continued to watch it while he was gone.

He wasn’t very happy with me when he returned to find out he missed some of it.

That just proves my point that he really does want to watch it.

However, he absolutely refuses to watch the Bachelor with me.

I can understand that one.

I did rent the movie, Water for Elephants, to watch tonight.

As long as I pop up some popcorn I am sure I can talk him into watching it with me.

He is a sucker for popcorn.
