Confessions

1. I am teaching Luke how to brush my hair. There is nothing better than having my hair brushed. I love it more than just about anything. I decided if I can teach him while he is young, he will get the hang of it sooner. I always thought it would be my daughter brushing my hair, but Luke will do. Don’t tell Jared.

2. Tonight I could smell something stinky, so I opened Luke’s diaper to check to see if it was him. His poop was clear up his back and I got it all over my hands. I about gagged. That hasn’t happened since he was a baby. Maybe it is time to potty train!

3. Some mornings I let Luke watch an extra episode of Curious George so I can sleep for a little longer. And some days I nap when Luke naps. I think I am still following the rule of sleep when baby sleeps.

4. Today Jared stayed at home while Luke was napping so I could go out shopping by myself. On my way home I looked in the mirror and about had a panic attack when I didn’t see Luke in his carseat. For a split second I thought I left him somewhere. I think I would pass out if that were to ever happen, and being passed out probably wouldn’t help the situation.

5. I would really like to loose the baby belly fat that I still have, but instead of working out I just eat sweets instead. I love sweets so much it makes me crazy. Yesterday I had two Reese’s peanut butter hearts and still had room for a Reese’s sonic blast shake. What’s a girl to do? Well, besides exercise.

Wow, it was good to get these off my chest.

  1. I love it! I think i do almost all of those things! Ryker watches the whole movie of cars every morning... I'm so bad... but that happens only if he wakes up at 6 :S

  3. You are so funny. I need to send Tess your way. She will brush your hair for almost a half and hour. she loves it. I am glad Luke is learning. I say eat the treats, and sleep. You deserve it.

  5. Love these! I confess, on the sweets, and the sleeping in while Lincoln watches a show. Ha ha. At least sometimes it works that way!

  6. I think I need to teach Ryan how to brush my hair! I'm mostly afraid of him tangling my hair, but practice will make perfect.

Whenever I am by myself in the car with the car seats, I do the same thing.

I still have extra weight too. My SIL's are using this website for counting calories and have lost 10 pounds in a couple months. I don't know if I could give up reeses pieces or shakes though. :)

I love your confessions! Because really everyone is doing it. And if they aren't doing THAT they are doing something else. :)

  8. I'm pretty sure that my baby girl is going to know how to run the tv before she is 2. There's NOTHING wrong with letting the tv babysit so you can get some much needed rest! I feel the same way about the baby fat. I want to start working out, but eating waffles for breakfast and snacking on chocolate chips is so much better. Plus, I watch the Biggest Loser all day and still eat junk instead of working out. HAHA. I think you're doing a great job! :)
