We had a great Valentine’s Day.
We celebrated with Thai takeout, supermarket sushi, and homemade chocolate fondue.
It was all very delicious.
I got spoiled when I woke up to flowers and a treasure hunt that led me to a beautiful set of Ruby jewelry.
Luke also got spoiled with gifts which included super cute monkey slippers.
Jared’s gift were spread out over the 14 days leading up to Valentine’s.
This month reminds me so much of Ruby.
The red, the hearts, the love is everywhere and I definitely feel her close by.
Hope you felt the love yesterday as well.

Side story to remember:
Ever since we all got the flu over Christmas break Luke has learned the meaning of “being sick”.
He uses the word sick about every day.
If he doesn’t want to eat something or do something I have asked of him, he is “sick”.
He also tells me I am sick a lot.
He will come up and rub my tummy and say “mommy, sick”.
Then he will fill his kitchen pot with his sandbox beans and give it to me as soup to make me feel better.
It gives me a good laugh every time he says it.
Sounds like a great valentines day!! I wore my ruby bracelet as part of my valentines outfit :0) hugs
