Happy Friday

I couldn’t wait any longer to break out my Halloween decorations.

I think I have mentioned this several thousand times before, but Halloween is my favorite holiday.

My house is officially spooky.

Yesterday my visiting teacher came by for a visit and brought Luke some presents.

This isn’t the first time she has brought presents. We have a whole bag of Army guys and a freezer full of banana ice cream.

She is the best.

These little guys have come everywhere with us today.

They are really squishy and quite fun to play with.

Luke has started to play pretend more and more and it is too cute to listen to the conversations between Buzz and Woody.

Luke also loves to talk on our old school home phone line everyday to Nani & Poppy.

Here is how the conversation goes every time: Hi Nani, what doing? What Poppy doing? Then he goes on to tell them what he is doing. Ok, love you, miss you, bye. Then he hangs up on them whether they are done talking or not.

Every morning when I go to get him in his room I will say Good Morning Sunshine!

This morning when I went in the first thing he said was Good Morning Momma!

Luke has been spending his days in his underwear only. He always is asking to take his shorts and shirt off. Maybe it’s the heat, or maybe it’s just a boy thing.

He even took off his shorts when my visiting teacher was here, it’s was a real treat.

He has had some wicked bed head going on nowadays.

He needs a haircut so bad, but it grows like a weed that I feel that he always needs a haircut.

I am trying to figure out a style for him that he could keep it long, but it is constantly a mess.

Once a day I hear form Luke that he wants to get on an airplane to see A (Andrea, my sister), that he wants to go to Nani’s house and that he wants to go to Gymboree class. Please, mommy, please!

He told Jared the other day that he wants to move to Utah and live at Nani’s house.

I can’t blame him, when Nani (my mom) lets him have cookies for breakfast I would want to go too.

He has been so excited for his birthday and is already telling everyone that he is 3 years old.

He also tells everyone that he is having a choo choo birthday.

I have already bought the stuff for a circus birthday so I have added some details of a circus train as well.

Let’s hope that is enough for him or it might be a really sad birthday.

His birthday is still 2 months away, but yes I have already planned it.

Hope you all have fun plans this weekend.

Happy Friday!

  1. I woke up this morning shocked that it was Friday. I thought it was still the middle of the week. :) I love the hear the things that Luke is doing. Those are the joys of motherhood. Ryan currently refuses to put on his underwear and pants so at least Luke is wearing underpants. :) Oh and I always keep Ryan's hair short because I can't stand combing it. Sometimes I wonder what he would look like with a real hair cut. :) Have a great weekend!

  2. Just so you know, Brighton runs around in his underwear only all day too. In fact during his Birthday Party after he blew out his candles he took off his pants and asked one of the random dads at the party to help. all I could think of was that song "it's my party and I cry if I want to" But changed it in my head to "do what I want to" Boys! :)

  3. Well, E's bday is December and I already bought the plates, napkins and some favor stuff! It's always a busy time so I thought it would make it easier on me to do a little at a time. Plus I saw it cheap at Walmart. Gotta love a deal!

I am cracking up at the bed head. C's often looks the same.
