This past weekend was a lot of fun.
Friday night I got together with my high school friends.
It’s amazing to me that we are still so close after all these years.
Most of us have known each other since our elementary school days.
I love these girls and it is nothing but laughs with them.
We met for dinner at The Wild Grape in Salt Lake.
We were all laughing in this picture because a drunk guy was trying to photo bomb our picture.
After dinner we headed to the Hilton hotel where my friends were going to stay the night.
I decided to head home instead of staying over because let’s face it, no one wants to sleep in a queen bed with a pregnant lady who gets up 20 times a night to pee.
We stayed up pretty late talking about everything you can imagine.
The night also included exercising (don’t ask me why).
The next morning we took Luke to ride the Front Runner Train.
It was freezing that day and I thought we would all be frozen by the time we boarded the train.
However, this little dude loves trains so we stood and waited while we became icicles.
He kept asking if it was the Polar Express.
Close, but not quite.
After we rode back and forth we grabbed some lunch at Porter’s Place in Lehi.
It was okay food, but Luke enjoyed it.
Sunday night we went to visit my new nephew, Liam, again.
I can’t get enough of this little peanut.
Seriously, he is the cutest, sweetest baby ever.
Luke was so sweet holding him, trying to put his binkie in and even asked to sing him a song.
{Couldn’t keep his eyes off the movie}
{That’s better}
I loved seeing how Luke was so sweet with him and wanted to help as much as possible.
Only 4 & 1/2 more months and we will have one of our own to snuggle!

One more thing:
Anyone have suggestions on how to get Luke to like and go to Sunbeams?
This kid isn’t having it.
At all.
On the bright side he is loving going to my mom’s and my aunt’s house while I am at work.
It has really helped him to adjust to being back in Utah (even though he asks everyday when we are going back to our Vegas house) and getting to know other kids here.
He also loved story time today except for the minor meltdown when he wanted to hold the stuffed Panda bear and didn’t get to.
Sigh, a day in the life of a three year old.
The pictures of Luke with Liam are so cute. I'm lucky because of preschool and Ryan being one of the oldest, he told me on Sunday that he could go to sunbeams himself. Yeah, I feel lucky! It will probably just be something that takes time, it doesn't sound like fun though! Sorry. :(
ReplyDeleteso cool that you have great friends like that! luke is looking so grown up in these pictures...maybe because he's not the baby in them. good luck with sunbeams. joss didn't seem to mind but she has that early/late (depending how you look at it) so she was almost 4 when she started going. i think that made it easier. however, tyler's not so happy about nursery since she's not in there with him now. its always something/someone!
