Valentine

We had a good Valentine’s day yesterday.

I spent most of the morning waiting for my ultrasound.

When I got there they said they were running 30-45 minutes behind schedule.

I ended up waiting over an hour, but I would have waited all day to see how this little baby is doing.

I met with the perinatologist that diagnosed Ruby with her complications.

It was great meeting with someone that already knows the full story without starting from square one.

Everything checked out on the baby just fine.

Measurements and anatomy all look great.

It was a huge relief.

We also discussed things that happened with Ruby in detail and my concerns with this baby.

I am feeling more and more comforted that everything will go smoothly.

It was also confirmed we are having a boy.  We are very excited.

It was a great Valentine’s present.

While I was at the doctor Luke spent the morning with my niece and her little boy.

They got to decorate cupcakes and he has been talking about Ryker’s house ever since.

Last night Jared brought home Thai food take out (my favorite) and we spent the evening as a family.

We visited Ruby and made sure we wished her a happy valentine’s too.

Luke is so cute when he talks to Ruby.

We got out of the car and he ran over and said Happy Valentine’s Day Ruby!

It melted my heart.

I got spoiled with flowers, candy and a necklace.

The necklace represents the birthstones of all three of my children.

This baby will be due in July and has a Ruby birthstone which makes it fun that it will represent Ruby and this new addition.

My sister and her family are in town so we will be spending the weekend with them.

It should be a great weekend.
