Jared works long hours.
Long hours mean he doesn’t see much of Luke during the week.
He is usually leaving for work when Luke wakes up and if he does get home before bedtime he usually has about an hour to spend with him.
Since Jared is usually home on the weekends we decided it would be good for them to spend some one on one time without me around (especially since he has been extra clingy to me).
Saturday morning is guy time.
I love it because I have time to myself. I get things done that are hard to do with a little one at my side.
Today I went to a couple shops that I wouldn’t be able to browse in if Luke were with me.
It’s a win-win.
Today Jared took Luke to another Lowe’s workshop.
They built this fabulous castle.
Luke was so excited to show me what he had made.
One thing I need to mention is Jared loves to spoil Luke.
He just can’t resist buying him things, lots and lots of things.
Usually on these Saturdays Luke comes home with a new toy, treat, or experience.
Today he came home with this:
He looks too darn cute for me to put my foot down about this.
He absolutely loves it too.
He worked all afternoon in the garage with his daddy.
He even ate his lunch in the garage because he didn’t want to come in the house.
I loved seeing them spend time together.
I think these Saturdays are working out quite nicely.
Adorable. I am glad that is working out so nicely. I bet Luke loves the time with Jared.

Isn't it nice to shop without a toddler? I love Harper but at this point, she needs to work on her boutique manners. Ha ha.

ReplyDeleteThis has motivated me and we are doing the Lowes activity on Saturday. I think I am more excited about it then they are. Luke is WAY too cute in his outfit. Such a stud.
