Love is a powerful thing.
Thank you for showing your love to us by wearing red in honor of Ruby.
I will forever be reminded of my sweet daughter every time I see the color red.
Thank you for sharing your pictures with me and making me smile.

More to come:
We just got back from a beautiful weekend in Utah. We held a sweet funeral for Ruby and I will share that with you soon.
Two weeks from today I will have an official 2-year old on my hands.
We ended our beautiful weekend in Utah with a very sick little boy. It was the first time Luke had ever thrown-up. Good thing it had settled down by the time we drove home.
It’s mine and Jared’s anniversary tomorrow. Can you guess how many years? Jared and I thought for sure we were going on at least 7-8 years, but no, only 3.
Love this. We have worn red in honor of Ruby a couple of times over the past couple weeks. I, too, can't see the color red and not think of Ruby.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad Luke is feeling better and I hope you all are able to do something relaxing for your anniversary.
I don't think I will see the color and not think of her either. What a great reminder of love. I'm sorry that Luke got sick. Throwing up is the worst! It's almost as bad as potty training. ;) I'm glad he is feeling better.
ReplyDeleteI loved seeing those pictures! So much love and support! I hope you all are doing well.
ReplyDeleteWe all love you! Happy Anniversary!
ReplyDeleteRed is now my favorite color. I am thankful that it also represents love, because that is what I think of when I think of her.
ReplyDeleteKristin and Jared,
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful post. It is so very moving for me to see your faith in action and the healing that provides you. Thank you for sharing these personal stories. Ruby is certainly in my thoughts everyday, as is your beautiful family.
