A new ride (for now)

We have still been busy, busy here in Utah.

I am going to pick up Jared from the airport tomorrow morning.

So excited to have him here, plus I need a handyman for some rental repairs :)

A few things to note this week:

Last night my old Bunco group needed a sub so they called me to come fill in.

It was so good to see everyone again.

Oh I miss those girls!

We picked up right where we left off…conversations about toddlers, child birth, and being a stay-at-home mommy.

Last night Luke kept waking up saying his legs hurt.

I think it might have been growing pains, poor boy!

He seemed fine today and him and my niece, London, played/fought all the day long.

Jared had a minor mishap with my car and a rock over the 4th of July.

It put a dent in the side of my car.

I couldn’t get too mad because I did the same thing to the back bummer of his 4-runner so I called it even.

While we are here in Utah we decided to have it fixed by Jared’s brother who has an auto body shop.

While my car is in the shop, Jared’s brother loaned me his truck:

Super nice huh?

The only probably is I look ridiculous trying to get in this thing.

It doesn't look that high in the picture but it’s quite the leap up.

I am sure people that watch me know within 2 seconds that this isn’t my truck.

Last night after Bunco I couldn’t stop laughing as I was trying to get in.

It’s also super fun hoisting Luke into his car seat.

It’s quite different driving it around instead of my Mazda, but I am SUPER grateful I have something to drive.

I better get to bed so I can get up early to go pick up my lover.

We have a busy day tomorrow so I will keep you updated because I know how interesting our lives are ; )
