Instagram Photo Dump

It’s that time again to dump all my camera phone pictures here and give a quick update.

A couple weeks ago Hank was not feeling well.

It seems like someone in our house is always fighting a cold.

I laid him in my bed one morning while I finished getting ready for the day and when I came out to check on him he had fallen asleep.

Nothing cuter than a snuggly, tired boy.

Thank goodness he is feeling better.

Speaking of Hank, he gives me a run for my money everyday.

He is the feistiest, funniest child.

He doesn’t love sandwiches, but Luke loves sandwiches, so I keep trying to get him to eat them so I can make them the same thing for lunch.

This is what he does to every sandwich…he sticks his pretzels in it and then tells me to stick it.

He definitely keeps me on my toes.

And so does Luke!

Luke is my organized boy.

He loves to build creations.

But before he will even think about breaking them, he needs to take a picture just in case he ever wants to build it the EXACT SAME WAY.

My camera phone is filled with pictures like this:

There have been meltdowns if something is taken apart before a picture is taken.

I’m hoping and praying I can steer this characteristic of his in the right direction.

Now onto myself…

I stopped by Ruby’s grave to decorate for spring.

It was super windy that day and as I bent down to put something in the ground, her windsock grabbed my hair and twisted it around so fast I had no idea what happened.

I could not get it out of my hair and the wind just kept making it worse.

Luke couldn’t stop laughing which made me laugh, so he was no help.

I finally got the windsock taken down and had to sit in my car as I tried to get it untangled.

I thought I was going to have to cut it out.

Before I got it untangled I had to capture the moment.

It looks like I’m about to attend an 80’s rock party.

In other news, after almost a 2 year break I went back to the pharmacy to work a little.

I decided that I needed to keep my foot in the door and to keep up on my knowledge.

I will only be filling in every once in awhile on Saturdays when Jared is in town to watch the kids, but it felt good to be back for the day.

It’s crazy to think that I use to work 4- 10 hour shifts a week, standing on my feet all day, even while pregnant, and it didn’t phase me.

I worked an 8 hour shift one day and my feet were hurting!

I guess that means I sit on my butt too much at home watching day time television ;)

Ok, maybe not.

Even though I get more breaks to sit down when I’m at home, staying at home with my kids is ten times harder than working a day out of the home.

I know that might not be the case for everyone, but it is for me.

I wouldn’t change it, but it’s a lot harder raising human beings than filling prescriptions.

We actually have a lot of fun at home too with dance parties:

Hank takes his dancing very seriously:

We also do some singing, too.

We are a multi-talented family.

Luke likes to make up songs on Jared’s guitar.

This night he was singing about how we won’t let him get a drum set, so maybe he will get a trumpet.

And one more thing you should know is that Hank is an animal lover.

Any animal, it doesn’t matter.

One day we walked by the fishes while grocery shopping and he threw a fit when I tried to leave.

By the way, the same thing happened today.

We walked by those same fish and we had to stop, but instead of a small head shake “I don’t want to go”, he threw the tantrum of all tantrums.

I pretty sure EVERYONE in that store heard his screams.

They were ear-piercing.

Not to mention he had leaked through his diaper so we were all sorts of messy trying to get out of that store.

I’m sipping on a coke right now as we speak to get rid of the headache I have from his screams.

Oh geez, that kid!

I will survive, right?!

  1. You will survive! It's nice to hear about other tantrums, I feel like that's our world right now with Reagan, I'm not alone:) and I love the IG dump. I'll have to find you on there!

  2. I love the song. I am laughing my head off. Maybe you can steer his creations into becoming a Lego designer. That is what Isaac wants to be when he grows up.
