On with the house tour.
Here are before pics of the master bedroom:
It was very clean, simple, and elegant.
Master closet:
We have a lot more furniture, so it looks quite different.
The only things we changed besides adding our furniture was the carpet and light fixture.
We decided to put a ceiling fan in since it gets rather hot in the summertime.
Welcome to our Master Bedroom:
The color scheme just happened by chance.
I didn’t set out decorating with these colors in mind, but I do think there is a good mix of feminine and masculine with the gold and teal.
I added this tray/basket to Jared’s side of the bed because he is a hoarder of magazines and books so at least this keeps them organized and looks pretty.
I’ve had about a hundred different throw pillows on my bed and have finally settled on these… for now.
The teal pillows look much darker in the pictures.
I included a lot of pictures of Jared and me around the room, since it is our space.
The TV only gets used to watch morning cartoons with Luke.
And if anyone has an extra cool way to keep dust off of this dresser please let me know. It is driving me crazy.
I love my shutter blinds.
More pictures of me and Jared. The door on the left is the closet. The door on the right is the bathroom.
This bench was a perfect addition in between the two doors. We sit on it to get dressed, put our shoes on or play legos with Luke, but the really cool thing is that it opens to store all of Ruby’s precious keepsakes.
There you have it.
What do you think?
