Fabulous finds

I love a sale.

I love getting a good deal on something I have been eyeing.

Maybe this is just called being cheap, but I will call it thrifty.

Sometimes when I am looking for something specific and can’t find the price I want I turn to Craigslist, KSL or yard sales.

Recently, I have found some pretty good deals.

Luke and I like to go for walks, especially since the weather is perfect in Vegas right now.

However, we never bought a ‘real’ stroller for Luke.

All we have is an umbrella stroller which he isn’t very fond of.

I thought we would wait to buy a nice stroller when we would need to buy a double.

Since we don’t need a double right now, I thought I should get something to take walks with that would be comfortable for Luke.

I found this awesome jogging stroller on Craigslist for $25.

It works great for our needs, but don’t get any ideas that I will actually be jogging with it.

Next, I found this kitchen on Craigslist for $10.

$10!!!!

Luke loves it and asks to “cook” all the time.

It was missing a couple parts, but I called the manufacture and they sent them to me for $1.50 each part.

Not too bad, right?

Back when I was changing decor around and making room for Ruby I decided we needed another dresser.

I found this IKEA dresser in perfect condition at a yard sale for $30.

I love it because Luke can open and close it himself.

I have him get his clothes and put them away.

I thought I would also share this find as well even though I bought it when Luke was a baby.

I found this exer-saucer at a consignment sale for $20.

It was a floor model at a department store, so again in really great shape.

I will be able to use it for all my children.

Last, but not least I wanted to share with you the project that Jared has been working on:

It’s a tool bench for Luke.

It turned out so great and Luke loves that he has tools just like dad.

Our toy room is started to be filled up fast.

Gosh, do you think Luke is a little spoiled?
