Yesterday I had a Dr. appointment where they thoroughly checked out my baby girl.
She is doing fairly well.
The hydrocephalus is worse, but we all expected that.
They also found a couple other things they will monitor.
Her heart is now asymmetrical.
They can’t really tell me what it could be while she is in the womb.
After delivery she will now need an Echo exam for her heart along with the MRI for her head.
She is definitely giving me gray hairs and she isn’t even a teenager yet.
She is also measuring small. They are saying she is about 5 lbs.
With all that is going on they decided it was time to schedule my c-section.
I will be delivering this little girl on Oct. 11th at 7:30am.
I wasn’t expecting it to be so soon.
I thought I would have at least a couple more weeks, but I am also very, VERY excited to meet her.
This means I have 5 days.
5 days of having my little girl inside of me.
5 days of Luke being an only child.
5 days until I am a mother of 2.
5 days to prepare for the arrival.
5 days to decide on a name.
Yes, a name.
We still haven’t decided. We have 2 solid choices, we just need to make a commitment to one.
Even though this has been a rollercoaster of everything imaginable, we feel so blessed.
VERY blessed.
Everyone is taking such great care of us.
Doctors, family, friends, ward members, and strangers.
I had a lady at the park start talking to me about my pregnancy today.
She has a 3 year old little boy and had a ten month old little girl.
After talking to her for awhile, she wanted to get my number so she could bring me a meal after I got home from the hospital.
I was blown away.
This isn’t the only thing like this that has happened.
This little girl is one special child of God, she has already bought so much love and joy to our family already.
Speaking of the park, Luke and I have found 2 awesome parks in Vegas.
They are age appropriate for him so he is in hog heaven.
It has been great weather these past couple of days so we have spent most of our time outdoors.
I also tried to video tape Jared reading a book to Luke. He gets SO animated with a pumpkin book I got at the library. The librarian also taught his the sign language for pumpkin and he has been obsessed with it every since.
He got distracted during while reading so we settled on another book. He shows a little of his personality in this clip.
Things to look forward to this weekend:
* My parents will be here tomorrow and my mom will now be here to stay (at least for awhile)
*Pregnancy massage Saturday afternoon
* A movie and dinner at Cheesecake Factory with Jared on Saturday night
Again, thanks for all your love, we feel it!
I love how you update all the time! Luke is such a cutie!!! Also you should take one last prego photo. :D

I wanted to send my love to you. You and Jared are amazing! I'm not sure I would hold up like you. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Tell Jared to let us know if he can. I'm glad your mom will be there for your family. By the way I like both names. We sure miss your little family, it feels weird when we get together and you're not there. Love you and we will keep you in our prayers.
