Girlfriends

(Side note: Christy is not drunk, however she does have a hard time keeping her eyes open when taking pictures)

I love these girls.

These girls plus a couple more…Karly, Heather & Sara

They are my high school girlfriends.

I have been friends with some of these girls as early as 5th grade.

Now that is love.

I have been out of high school almost 12 years.

I guess I could start referring to them as my adult girlfriends now that we have been out of high school so long.

We still try and get everyone together as often as possible.

A couple of weekends ago, the four of us above went out to dinner at Happy Sumo then for a little snacky snack at The Chocolate.

It was divine. Even the company.

We have been through a lot together.

And I mean a lot.

Out of the 7 of us we have been there for:

7 marriages

3 divorces

15 children born

Too many moves to count, including too many out of state moves

College graduations

Lots of tears and lots of laughter.

And I mean a lot of laughter.

When I get together with these ladies it is like we pick up right where we left off.

Like nothing has changed.

I am glad there are some things in life that stay the same.
