Our first stop on our cruise was to an island off of Honduras called Roatan. It was a very green, lush island. Our tour guides on this island actually ended up being from Texas, so it was great to have Americans take us around. We decided to zip-line on this island. Our tour guides dropped us off and the locals took us on the zip-line. It was a lot of fun. It ended up being pretty rainy this day, but it didn't start raining until we were done which was nice. After we finished, our guides showed us around the beach, some shopping areas and then a ship wreck which was very cool. We went back on the boat to eat lunch and change clothes. We came back to the city to walk around the local shops. A 16 year old kid starting talking to us and became our little tour guide (for a tip of course). But it was actually really great to talk to him about the life in Roatan. His name is Alfred and he is the one in the picture above with the weird smile.
