Our 4th of July celebrating started out with breakfast at Kneaders with my sister and her family.
We then stopped off at a splash pad to let the kids run wild.
It was not crowded at all and the perfect day to be outside.
That night we got ready to go watch the fireworks.
We went to the Pleasant Grove cemetery to watch them.
It was the perfect view.
The boys loved the fireworks and especially the treats.
The next weekend we heading out on another camping trip to my favorite childhood spot, the KOA in Nephi canyon.
It rained pretty much every day we were there, but we still found time to swim.
We also got to celebrate Hank’s birthday with my family.
Hank loved being about to eat his own ice cream cone without me trying to help him.
I just had to look away until he was done, then it was off to the bath.
Right before we left on our camping trip I got word that one of my high school friend’s mom passed away.
I snuck away from camping to attend her funeral.
We are too young to be losing our parents already.
When I got back to camp after the funeral we saw a double rainbow.
It was a great weekend full of games, campfire, playing, and lots and lots of food.
What else we have been doing:
Summer movies
Visiting museums (this is the Bean Museum)
Running through sprinklers and having picnics
Selling lemonade (Luke made enough to buy a small Lego set, so I’m sure this will be something he will want to do again much to my dismay)
Hanging out with friends (I got to meet up with my two dear friends from when I lived in San Diego, I miss them immensely. These two boys are only a month apart. I think Luke has some growing to do)
Hank is such a cute birthday boy! Luke looks so big in these pictures! Love you and your family!
