I feel like this summer has gone by so fast, but I also feel like we have enjoyed it and not let it pass us by.
From camping to swimming, to playing, BBQ’s, family time, trips and much more we have had a lot of fun.
School & fall are right around the corner so we plan on soaking up every bit of summer we have left.
The past couple weeks have been busy with summer fun.
We have been splashing it up at the splash pads.
These have been so great for Hank because he can just sit and splash on his own without me holding him in a swimming pool.
Luke loves them because it usually means we stop for a shaved ice on the way home.
Luke finished up Itty Bitty soccer and loved every minute of it.
I was pretty impressed with his skills.
My favorite was when he was playing goalie and he blocked a goal and kicked it so hard it went across the room where he scored a goal.
He then was so excited and was too busy celebrating that they scored a goal on him.
Ha! It was too funny.
Luke also made a friend on his team.
This little boy would never talk back to him (too shy and quiet) but Luke carried on conversations the whole time with him.
The boy would talk back with a smile.
This past weekend Jared’s work gave us suite tickets to the Bee’s baseball game in Salt Lake.
We had enough tickets to invite some friends and my parents.
It was such a nice night of food, friends, family, fun & fireworks.
Luke loved every minute and Hank was such a good boy the entire night.
Nothing says summer like a ball game.
We have three more weekends before school starts for Luke and we have something planned every weekend.
Some camping, a weekend trip and a girl’s weekend.
I think the girl’s weekend of rest and relaxing will be a perfect way to end summer.
I loved reading this. I feel like we missed so much of summer. And I'm sad about it. I'm so glad you guys are soaking it all in. I love that you have a camper and I hope we can have one one day. We could go camping together! :)
