Green Things

I love holidays. It gives me something to look forward to.

Even the small holidays can be fun.

Since Luke is so young and could pretty much careless about holidays, I usually don’t go all out, but I make sure we do at least a little something fun.

I am sure the holidays will get a little grander when he starts getting excited for them too.

For St. Patty’s day we started off by coloring a St. Patrick’s themed picture we got at story time (yes, we did go back, but we made sure it was a different library).

“Mom stop taking my picture, the flash is making me lose my concentration!” (He sure knows how to give a dirty look)

Then we made a sweet treat with the help of a leprechaun to turn them into rainbows.

Then we shared the wealth with daddy at work.

Hope your day was filled with green things too!

  1. Do you think we are related?! Macy colored that exact picture (I printed it from the Internet), and we made those exact cupcakes! Ha ha! Glad you had a fun day!

  3. I want you to teach me how to make those cupcakes, or the leprachan or someone, just teach me. I guess you know the leprachan and can hook me up.
