All about Luke

Wait.

When are my posts not about Luke?

However, I haven’t done a list in a a very long time of all his milestones and mannerisms at this age.

He is 16 months old and this post is only for my memory and record-keeping.

- He loves fruit, any and all fruit.

- When I am holding him, he brushes his fingers through my hair.

- He has to have his cup in the cup holder tray on his high chair. If anything else is in that spot he moves it and puts his cup there.

- He LOVES signing time.

- He can run, “jump”, and climb.

-He is a big tease and will pretend like he is going to hand you something and then pulls it away.

-He can sign a lot of words: up, banana, apple, all done, bread, cereal, more, hot, cold, cat, please, thank you, bear, baby, smart, sleep, wash hands, eat, drink, help

-He will grab his diaper when he has to go to the bathroom.

- He can say the following words: shoes, mama, dad, Jesus, papa, balloon, ball, book, fish, boots

- He loves to “talk” on the phone.

- He can point to his eyes, ear, nose, mouth, tongue, teeth, belly, jacket, hair, pants, and feet.

-At church he will start to lead the music when he hears a hymn being played.

- He can tell me what the dog, cat and cow says.

- He can “wink” and flex his muscles.

- He holds up one finger when I ask him how old he is.

- He recognizes a lot of pictures in his first 100 words book.

- He can throw a really good tantrum.

- He now lets us snuggle him to sleep ever since we got rid of the bottle. He will let us rock him and when he is ready for bed he sits up and points to his crib.

- Grandma is his favorite because she will do anything he wants her to.

- He loves running around in his diaper.

- He helps me unload the silverware from the dishwasher.

- He is a busybody and we can’t wait until nursery.

- He loves being outside and wants to go on a walk in the stroller every time we go out to play.

- He still loves to make messes by pulling everything out of drawers and cupboards.

-He loves to dance and starts to move every time he hears a song.

-He loves animals.

- He is our spirited, opinionated, fun-loving little boy!
