Winter can be hard season to get through.
You pretty much have to stay indoors all day.
With a one year old in the house, we both get cabin fever.
My friend, Julie Ann, wrote a post about winter activities that they have been doing.
When I saw the Lehi pool I knew it would be a perfect activity for us.
I invited my HS friend, Karly, to come along.
She lives in SLC and it would be a great half way point for both of us to finally meet up and chat.
Luke had a blast and did really well even with all the dunking in the water.
{My blue eyed boy}
{Lehi pool has a whole play area for toddlers. Luke was able to sit and crawl around in the water all by himself}
{Take note of that big bucket on top}
{Right after this picture was taken we were doused with water from that giant bucket… no warning, camera in hand. Luke just looked at me like “why did you just do that?”}
{I felt so bad because he couldn’t ever warm up, he was shaking from being cold the whole time we were there}
{My beautiful friend, Karly, and her happy baby, Asalya}
We have plans to meet back up next Friday, hopefully with more company too.
It was a great way to drench wash away our winter blues.
We are definitely ready for summer.
How fun!! Wish we could have been there to join you! I love your way cute swimming suit!
ReplyDeleteI am so jealous. I wish we had something like that around here. It is well worth the money just to get out of the house.
ReplyDeleteThat looks so fun! I am also feeling the winter blues. I need the SUNSHINE and warmth again! And next time send an invite our way!lol
