I forgot to take pictures, but I wanted to blog about our dinner date anyway. This last Friday Jared and I headed to SLC to go to dinner with two of my closest friends, Jen & Yasemin. I met both of them while living out in San Diego and we try and get together as often as possible. These two girls have been solid friends through all my ups and downs. I know I can always rely on them no matter the situation. The only thing that makes it hard is that Jen still lives in San Diego and Yasemin lives in Syracuse. Jen and her husband, Ryan, were in town for a couple of family reunions so they made some time to meet up for dinner. Yasemin and her husband, Aaron drove down and we all met at Thaifoon, a restaurant at the Gateway. The food was excellent, but the company was even better. I really, really miss have these two friends close. We always have a great time when we get together. Jared was a great sport about coming along and listening to a conversation he knew nothing about. He understands how important it is to be with people you love. The great thing is I am flying out to see Jen this weekend and spend a little more time with her. YEAH!
I did not know you and Yasemin were good friends. Does she have a blog? I would love to catch up with her.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun dinner. Give Yasemin my love and best wishes the next time to see or talk to her. I think her often and hope all is going well with baby number 3. Does she know if it is a boy or girl???
ReplyDeleteThey have decided to not find out. I could never do that... She is scheduled for her c-section on the 4th of Oct.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't do that either. Wow. I am anxious to hear.
ReplyDeleteI also just read over my last comment. Gosh, I am not illiterate, I just have a two-year old "talking" to me while I do everything. Sorry for all the type-os!
Great seeing you last week-end. You look great. Pregnancy agrees with you!
Isn't it great to have fun friends.
ReplyDeleteI love enjoying time with them.
Jeff & Laura?
