I didn't take any pictures this weekend so all you get is animated, cheesy pictures. The kite flying guy's face is pretty much how ours looked so you get the idea.
I have been loving the weather lately and I really hope it sticks around. It reminds me of warm, summer nights staying out until it was dark playing night games in our neighborhood. Jared and I decided to take advantage of the warm weather and do summer night activities this weekend even though it wasn't quite as warm at night as I like it to be.
Friday night Jared put together the BBQ grill that I gave him for Christmas and we were able to BBQ steaks and salmon. It was delicious and I loved being able to finally BBQ outside. Saturday morning Jared went as a substitute player for a soccer game. It was fun to go and watch him play, he wouldn't let me take any pictures though. But can I just tell you how hot my husband is when he plays sports?! Anyway, back to the subject of warm weather. Saturday afternoon we went to Nielsen's Grove Park. We took our Sonic drinks and a blanket and laid in the sun for about an hour. Once the wind picked up we broke out our kites. It was like we were 10 years old again. I had a Barbie kite and Jared had a Blue Angles Jet kite, we were in heaven. We had such a relaxing time at the park and I can't wait until it is warm everyday so that we can enjoy the beautiful things outside.
I love this weather and being outside too! Sounds like you guys are really enjoying the weather. I saw this thing at Sam's club, it was a blow up Movie screen that you can set up outside and watch movies. It was really cool, I just wish I had a yard!
