I always like to stick with a theme for Halloween.
I think it makes it more fun that way.
I’ll keep doing it this way as long as Luke keeps letting me choose his costume.
As of right now, he doesn’t know he has a say in things.
This year I chose Peter Pan as our theme.
Our costumes are usually pretty simple because they are homemade, but I think our theme came together well.
Happy (late) Halloween from Never, Never Land.
The most adorable Peter Pan you will ever see:
Versus his rival, the cutest meanest Captain Hook (he was a little hesitant about the “girl” wig):
The thoughtful, ever pleasing, Mr. Smee:
And we can’t forget Tink:
We made stops all over the valley trick or treating.
From preschool, to both mine & Jared’s work, to grandparents’ home, I wore Luke right out:
We hadn’t even started trick or treating around our neighborhood or he would have been out for the night.
We ordered some pizza, woke him up and started making our way around the blocks.
Our neighborhood is lively on Halloween night, and I love it.
Kids were everywhere.
Houses were playing music and had awesome decorations.
Neighbors were handing out hot chocolate.
It was great and the perfect trick or treating weather.
Luke stocked our candy bowl clear to the brim.
We came home, watched Casper and finished passing out candy.
I’ve already started planning costumes for next year.
Any guesses on our theme?
Super cute costumes!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun night. I love when neighborhoods get in to it. OK. I have to know the theme for next year? You are leaving me in suspense.
