10 Confessions with some random pictures

1. I still haven’t written down my New Year’s goals and resolutions. Tomorrow is February 1st, guess I better get on that.

2. I take Luke to preschool twice a week in Pleasant Grove and every time I’m over there I’m tempted to stop and get a sugar cookie from Cravings bakery. There are so good, and most the time I give in and get one.

3. I have never liked Coke/Pepsi products in my life, but as soon as I became pregnant it tasted so good (not a good time to crave caffeine). Even though I’m not pregnant a Coke Zero with lime just hits the spot.

4. I was doing so good working out all the time last year until I became sick then I lost all motivation. Now that I am feeling better I still have no motivation. I better get some motivation quick because if I keep giving into those sugar cookies I am going to need the workout. One of my goals (that I haven’t made official by writing down, see #1) is attending Zumba again. Anyone want to go with me?

5.  I use Facebook for 3 purposes: 1. to get recommendations for things/places/ideas 2. to reconnect with people that I have lost contact with over the years 3. to browse yard sales. Mostly #3, I’m addicted to browsing yard sales.

6. I decided to give in and buy some leggings. I held off for awhile because I didn’t know if I was too old to pull them off. Then I saw a 50+ year old lady at Costco rocking them and thought I would give them a try. I just got some in the mail today and I have to say they are even more comfortable than maxi skirts, which is hard to beat. As long as I have the right shirt for them (covers the bum) I think I have a new best friend.

7. Every night I go in and check on the boys while the sleep. Let’s be honest, I go in several times, but once in awhile when I go and peek on them I can see Ruby’s features in their faces.  The other night Luke looked so much like her I actually had to make him change positions because it freaked me out.

8. I received mostly money and gift cards for Christmas and my birthday and the only things I have bought with them are clothes, jewelry and beauty products. “Look good, feel good” is one of my mottos and even though I don’t feel my best with the bell’s palsy, new clothes and jewelry always make a girl feel better.

9. I have been going to bed WAY to late lately. I really need to get in bed earlier. After the boys are in bed it is my time to rejuvenate. I work on projects, relax, catch up on shows, blog, social network, house work and read. The night always goes by too fast that I have a hard time giving up the night too early (even though I love sleep). I’m a night owl and would love this to change, but not sure it is going to happen.

10. Whenever I am feeling down I re-watch the flipagram video I made and it always reminds me of how blessed I truly am.

  2. I am TOTALLY with you on the leggings. I have worn mine out of the house once. I went to my mom's house. They are just so darn comfy....
I also really liked your #8. I think if we were ever to meet we'd be great friends. :)

  3. Love these confessions. :) I love those darn facebook yardsales, too. You can totally pull off the leggings. Are they patterned? Just curious. I think clothes and accessories are a great way to spend your birthday money.

  4. I love when you post. I love leggings too, but I don't have any shirts long enough. I wish I was better at buying clothes. I keep telling myself to buy an outfit once a month so I can feel better. Something always comes up though. I bet you rocked them! I am up way too late too, and I realized if I want to work out I should get up early and do it. I have a feeling that's not going to happen. I wish there was a cookie place here in Spanish, but maybe that's a good thing. You should have tagged people in this post. Do you remember when that was popular in blogging. ha!
