Luke was so excited to have a birthday party that we decided to throw him a big family party the day after his birthday.
We had a circus/carnival theme and I think he had a great time.
{Most of the photos courtesy of my sister, Andrea}
{I told Luke we were going to have cupcakes for his birthday and he informed me it wasn’t a birthday without a cake so I whipped this out at the last minute}
{All the kids enjoyed a round of pin the tail on the donkey}
{Being shy about everyone singing to him}
{He had been waiting all day to blow the candles out}
{After all the eating and games, it was time for the photo booth}
{I thought the photos would be a great way to remind Luke of who was at his 4th birthday}
{Then it was the time Luke had been waiting for all day/night, the opening of the presents}
Luke was so wore out by the end of the day he had a little tired meltdown.
It’s his party and he can cry if he wants to (you knew that was coming).
However, I think he still went to bed a very happy boy!
And myself, even though I am a little sad that my boy is growing up I have been using the “You are 4 now so no more…” to my advantage.
Everything was adorable Kristin! Love his faces during the present unwrapping. What a cutie!
ReplyDeleteWhat a darling party (and little boy!) I'm also sad when my kids grow, but also trying using it to my advantage :)
ReplyDeleteCute party! I'm glad it turned out so well!
