When we first started saying prayers with Luke he wanted to to be the one to say it every time.
He would throw fits when we were eating at other people’s homes and he didn’t get to say it.
Then he went on a prayer strike and never wanted to say it, only me or Jared.
Now he is back wanting to say it every time.
He usually says the exact same thing every prayer, but every once in awhile he throws something in that makes me laugh.
Tonight he said bless the three babies in mommy’s belly.
Three babies??
He keeps telling me that I have three babies in my belly and will point to were they are.
He has even named them.
They all have the same first name, but different middle names.
One doesn’t have a middle name, one has the middle name Mars and the last one has the middle name Luke.
He will be in for a rude awakening when only one baby comes out.
Most of the time when he is praying he will say:
Bless Ruby, she is sick and in heaven, but I’m getting a baby brother named ______________.
Have I told you he is adamant about naming this baby a certain name?
Thank goodness it is a name that was on our short list because if he keeps up with his persistence he might get his wish.
We will see.
This morning I had my glucose test and I won’t know the results until the end of the week.
I’m crossing my fingers.
I have been so paranoid about it that I made my boss test my blood sugar twice yesterday while I was at work.
He is familiar with my paranoia. I made him test my blood sugar several times when I was pregnant with Luke.
It was really low both times so that put me at ease (for awhile).
Tonight I took a video of Luke while in the tub.
It was hilarious, but he is naked and you can see that he is naked so I won’t post it.
He kept asking me questions about different letters and numbers and then would say, “What was I thinking?”
I was rolling!
And here are some pictures from our week:
Trafalga- riding airplanes
He insisted on doing this ride even though I was a little hesitant since I couldn’t do it with him.
It lifts you to the top and then drops.
He was holding on to that green pad pretty tight, but wanted to do it again when he got off.
A typical day in our house: blocks, tunnels and cars.
Coming from an all girl family, I had to get use to this.
I’m sure it will only get worse with another boy on the way.
Where are the barbies and baby dolls?
Prayers are the same way at our house. Now the boys fight over it. And they end up saying them at the same time. LOL You're lucky the name is on your short list. Ryan wants Hector. I hate that name. If it's a girl he wants Rosalina, because she is a princess. He will not be getting his wish. :) Can't wait to hear the name you choose and see your beautiful baby boy!
