Recent Happenings

Here is an update on the recent happenings around our  house.

- Jared and I have been suffering (and I mean suffering) from a terrible cold that won’t go away. When we die we may still have this cold. The good news: Luke has yet to get it.

- Our garden is growing and we have already partaken of the spinach leaves.

- Luke is now 18 months and able to go to nursery on his own. Yipee!! A full post with pictures about this later.

- I love the sunshine.  I can’t wait to use our Seven Peaks pass this summer.

- Luke falls to sleep on me within 5 minutes of rocking him, yet when he was a baby I rocked him for 45 minutes and still no sleep would occur. Go figure.

- I am a hostess for the Miss Salem pageant that is happening this Saturday. Good Luck Jordan!

- Luke has turned into a major Mama’s boy lately. He is going through an attachment phase. (Let’s hope it’s a phase)

- On my to do list: Take some pictures of Luke at 18 months.

- My little sister, Lindsay, and her family moved back to Utah. We have traded off Friday nights babysitting to give each other a date night.

- I want to plan a small trip for Jared’s birthday. Any suggestions?

- Jared is training for the Utah Valley Half Marathon, The Ragnar Relay and 24 hours of Moab bike race. It exhausts me just thinking about running.

- I have been working on changing out Luke’s room decor. It is going to be a transportation theme.  I will post pictures when it is complete.

I think that just about covers it for now.

  1. I am so excited to use our passes too! I think I'm mostly excited to just hang out with all you awesome girls. I won't really be able to go until the middle of June though. Boo. And yay for date nights!!! You guys are one of the cutest couples I know. You definitely deserve some time out. :)

  2. I'm jealous of your garden. :) Someday I will get motivated and do one myself instead of just being envious of everyone else's!
