Love Week

Jared and I celebrated Valentine’s all week.

It was just little notes and cards that were left for each other, but it made it quite fun.

On Saturday we went to Midway to look at the Ice Castles as a family.

It was such a nice day to be outside.

Luke loved looking at them.

We took lots of pictures.

I finally had to tickle Luke to get him to smile.

Luke thought he was pretty cool walking on the ice by himself.

It was a fun little activity to get out and see on a Saturday.

After we left Midway we drove up through Park city and Parley’s Canyon.

We decided to stop and have dinner at Porcupine Pup & Grill.

It was delicious.

I had the Salmon. Jared had the Filet Mignon. Luke really liked drinking milk from a straw.

We also got Butterscotch cheesecake.

It was love week after all and dessert is always on the agenda.

I work on Mondays and yesterday was no exception even though it was Love day.

I get home around 8pm so I wasn’t planning on doing much to celebrate.

When I got home Jared planned a whole romantic evening that started with this:

I was starving (as usual) so it was perfect.

Sonic and pizza.

In a heart shape of course.

I also got more flowers…

He’s the best!!!

Don’t worry, Luke got spoiled by the grandparents with gifts too.

  2. I love Midway! Isn't it such a quiet beautiful place? And love the valentines pizza heart! I have never seen that before. Very clever.
