On Friday after I had just finished taking pictures of Luke sleeping and writing a blog post about it, I went into check on him during his second nap and was caught off guard!

Let me back up a little.
We had just got home from visiting Jared at work and Luke was extremely tired.
I hurried and changed his diaper and left his shorts off, much like I always do when it is hot.
About 2 hours into his nap I went to check on him since it was about time to get up when I walked into his room to find a little surprise.
Let just say he looked much like this:
BUT(T) without his diaper on.
A white bare bum was sticking straight up at me.
I instantly started laughing and grabbed my camera.
I will spare Luke the humiliation of posting the actual picture.
I almost thought that I had forgot to put back on a diaper when I saw the crumpled up diaper in the corner of the crib.
Once Luke was awake I assessed the damage:
Thank goodness this was all I found if you know what I mean.
Of course Luke just looked up at me and smiled.
He was drenched as well so he went into the bathtub and everything else went into the washer.
Lesson learned.
Put back on the shorts.

He likes to do yoga in his sleep.
How funny! Good thing there wasn't any other surprises! We need to come visit! We've all been sick, so when we are better we'll come by!

How funny!! I am always afraid of that so I never even let Ryan run around with just his diaper. I know the day is soon coming when he can take it off. You are so nice to not post the picture. I totally would have!!! haha

ReplyDeleteI can pretty much guarantee you that you only make that mistake once. It happened to us too except for not a pretty picture if you know what I mean. Never forgot again after that.

ReplyDeleteOh my!! That is hilarious!!! Definitely a boy thing. I remember one time I walked in to find my little boys diaper off. Only he had smeared his poop EVERYWHERE. Seriously. It was awful!!
