For Memorial Day weekend we knew we needed to get out and enjoy the sunshine. On Saturday we decided we would go and hike the G. Jared is from Pleasant Grove so it holds a special place in his heart (oohh, how sweet).
We loaded up with Luke in tow and off we went. It was a great day for a hike and gave me a great workout. Plus, I thought it would help get me ready for this.
We made a bad decision to hike right during Luke’s dinnertime so he was a little restless, but still hung with us for the most part.
As for the rest of the weekend, on Sunday we had a Shrimp Boil with my family. This is one of my favorite traditions and it didn’t disappoint. It hit the spot!
On Monday, we took a drive around the Alpine loop, stopped off at the cabin to relax and ended with dinner in Heber.
It was a great weekend!
